Swisstrax Ribtrax Pro is designed for a straightforward modular installation. The tiles interlock without adhesives and can be installed over most clean, solid, level garage floors.

Prepare the Floor
Remove loose debris and clean the existing floor before installation. Address major surface damage, high spots, or other conditions that could interfere with the finished tile surface.

Plan the Layout
Measure the space and determine your tile pattern before beginning. Plan borders, accent colors, garage-door transitions, cabinets, posts, and other fixed obstacles before snapping tiles together.

Interlock the Tiles
Begin from a suitable corner and connect the tiles using the integrated interlocking system. Work across the floor while maintaining the intended pattern and alignment.

Cut Perimeter Tiles
Ribtrax Pro can be trimmed to fit around walls, cabinets, posts, and other obstacles. Swisstrax recommends using an electric saw with a fine-toothed blade when cutting tiles.

Finish Exposed Edges
Where the flooring terminates at an exposed edge, such as a garage-door opening, compatible Swisstrax edge pieces can be used to create a smoother finished transition.
